As Model Y/3 owners, we know the importance of keeping our cars in top condition. One area that can often be overlooked is the air conditioning system. The air conditioning system is essential for a comfortable driving experience, especially during hot summer months. However, the air conditioning system can also be a source of annoyance when it blows cold air directly onto the driver or passengers' legs. To solve this issue, we have designed a Velcro seat vent cover that can be easily installed and removed to direct the airflow away from the occupants' legs.
- Velcro strips
- Durable fabric (preferably waterproof)
- Sewing machine or fabric glue
1.Measure the dimensions of the seat vent opening to determine the appropriate size for the cover.
2.Cut the fabric to the appropriate size, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.
3.Cut two Velcro strips to the length of the cover.
4.Sew or glue one side of the Velcro strip to the fabric, along the edge of the cover.
5.Sew or glue the other side of the Velcro strip to the bottom of the seat, directly under the vent opening.
6.Attach the cover to the seat by matching the Velcro strips.
The Velcro seat vent cover is an easy and practical solution to redirect the airflow from the air conditioning system away from the occupants' legs. The cover can be easily installed and removed as needed, without damaging the seat or the vent. By taking the time to create this simple modification, you can improve the comfort of your driving experience and protect your car's air conditioning system.
